I have been mulling over a couple of simple Logo's for the TsmWiki, and thought I would post my current effort here. Everyone else is invited to comment on this one, or suggest their own logo's.
My best effort so far is;

The idea being, The community (cloud-like shape, linked nodes) TSM admins (with heads full of storage things) working together to create a collaborative space (blue area inside the ring of admins) all about TSM. With the moniker 'Wiki' outside of the other visual elements, indicating this is a ..... NB: I dont really know what I'm doing. I'm no graphic designer. |
Well, this has been up for a while now, so I have implemented the logo. Tell us what you think;
It was pointed out that it wasn't immediatley recognisable that they are people. Maybe it would look better if it was changed to make them seem more like people?
Does the "i" on iTMS throw people off? Does it remind people of IBM or iSeries?
.. As far as I'm aware it was just part of a branding change for TSM. Most people I know that work with TSM refer to it as TSM or ADSM. I included the 'i' just to be correct. I guess if people dont actually identify with it it can be taken out? MatthewWarren
My Understanding is that is is now called TSM again and the i was taken away. So it doesn't need to be iTSM any more. IBM seems to change product names on a weekly basis - so it might have changed back by now. :)h
- Good point. I do keep looking at it and thinking that. I'll edit it soon...
